Farhan Akhtar To Appear In The Marvel Studios' Disney Plus Series 'Ms. Marvel'

Mumbai, May 7 - Versatile Bollywood actor, Farhan Akhtar is all set to appear in the upcoming Marvel Studios series, "Ms. Marvel", which is slated to premiere on June 8 on Disney Plus.

According to Deadline, Farhan Akhtar will be making a guest appearance in the series. The details about his guest role have been kept under wraps for now.



Directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, "Ms. Marvel" introduces Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, aka the titular character, who is a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City.

Kamala is a superhero mega-fan with an oversized imagination, particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet, Kamala feels like she doesn't fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she's always looked up to.

"Ms. Marvel" will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar in India in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages from June 8.
