Director Puri Jagannadh To Do An Important Role In Chiranjeevi's Godfather

Hyderabad, April 9 - Veteran director Puri Jagannadh has joined the cast of the Chiranjeevi-starter political drama movie "Godfather". He is one of the known names in the industry who has given some of the best mass action movies as a director.

"Godfather" already has a stellar star cast on board. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara there will be Satyadev Kancharana will be playing a major role and also Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan will be seen in a prominent role in this movie. Puri will be playing the role of a journalist in this movie.



The shooting of this Mohan Raja directorial movie is not completed yet. It got delayed due to the phases of the COVID pandemic but as of now the major portions are shoot and only a small portion is remaining for completion.

This movie will hit the big screens in the second half of this year. Makers will be releasing it in multiple languages. Godfather is the official remake of the Malayalam movie Lucifer starring Mohanlal.
