Director Murugadoss Finalizes Lead Starcast For His Next Film

Chennai, August 5 - AR Murugadoss is one of the most celebrated Indian filmmakers who has worked across different industries. The filmmaker's last directorial was Rajinikanth-fronted "Darbar" which was released in 2020, and now, after more than 3 years, Murugadoss is making his directorial return.

It has been reported that Murugadoss will make his directorial return with a Tamil action entertainer. Now, as per the latest reports, the filmmaker has finalized Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan and actress Mrunal Thakur in the leading roles for his next film.



The upcoming movie will mark Mrunal Thakur's debut in Tamil cinema. The actress has been keeping herself busy in Telugu cinema and currently has two projects on floors in the form of "Hi Nanna" with Nani and "VD 13" with Vijay Deverakonda. She made her Telugu debut last year with "Sita Ramam" which emerged as a huge blockbuster.

While the movie is yet to be announced officially, reports say it will go on floors by the year-end, after Sivakarthikeyan finishes his Rajkumar Periyasamy film. Mrunal will also be done with "VD 13" by that time while her "Hi Nanna" is also in the last leg of filming.
