Chicago, 23 October - Cody Rhodes is all set to settle the score when he faces Damian Priest in a singles match at WWE Crown Jewel.

The build-up for this match began on the October 23 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw when Cody Rhodes interrupted Judgment Day's celebration. Rhodes took a jab at Priest and Balor, poking fun at them for taking orders from Rhea Ripley. In response, Priest challenged Cody Rhodes to a match at WWE Crown Jewel.



Moments later, following a brief exchange, an impromptu brawl erupted. Jey Uso eventually came out to make the save, but Priest ended up injuring Cody Rhodes' leg by trapping it inside the steel steps. Later in the show, it was announced that Rhodes had suffered an ankle injury.

Despite the injury, Cody Rhodes was determined to seek revenge. He made his way to the ring during the main event, where Finn Balor and Priest had already begun to attack Jey. This added another layer of intrigue to an already compelling bout on the card.
