The Rock's highly anticipated return to WWE has taken an unexpected turn. While everyone expected a dream match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, a fan movement erupted demanding "We Want Cody!" This, according to Cody Rhodes himself on First Take, led to a shift in plans.

This fan sentiment resulted in the birth of a new Rock persona: "The Final Boss." Rhodes compared this new character to Hollywood Hulk Hogan, suggesting a more ruthless and egotistical side of The Rock.
