Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' Gets A New Explosive Trailer

Mumbai, May 8 - Filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer is one of the most-anticipated films releasing this summer. The biographical film is based on the 2005 book American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.

The film follows the life of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, played by Cillian Murphy, the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project in World War II, and his contributions that led to the creation of the atomic bomb.



Ahead of the film's theatrical debut on July 21, 2023, "Oppenheimer" gets a new explosive trailer. The trailer was already leaked yesterday which gives us a peek at the atomic bomb test itself. Interestingly, Nolan recreated the atomic bomb without CGI.

The new trailer gives shows how Oppenheimer created the deadliest weapon on earth as he is noting that they are in "a race against the Nazis". The 3+ minutes long trailer also shows up Matt Damon as Leslie Groves), Emily Blunt as Katherine "Kitty" Oppenheimer, Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock, and Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, among others.
