Christmas 2023 Sets Up For Biggest Bollywood Clash At The Box Office

Mumbai, April 19 - The Christmas 2023 is going to be lit up like never before as far as the Indian film industry is concerned. It will see one of the biggest box office clashes in the form of "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" and "Dunki".

On Tuesday (April 19), Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and the blockbuster machine, director Rajkumar Hirani, announced their maiden collaboration, titled "Dunki". The duo was supposed to collaborate in the past but things didn't work well. But finally, SRK and Raju Hirani are coming together to set the box office on fire.



The shooting of "Dunki", which is based on illegal immigration called Donkey Flight, has already begun last week in Mumbai. The new schedule is being shot extensively in Punjab. Produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films and Red Chillies Entertainment in association with JIO Studios, the movie also stars Taapsee Pannu as the female lead along with Boman Irani. It is written by Rajkumar Hirani, Abhijaat Joshi, and Kanika Dhillon.

"Dunki" has been announced to release on December 22, 2023, on the occasion of Christmas and it will meet Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's action thriller "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" with director Ali Abbas Zafar. The movie was announced earlier in February this year under the production banner of Pooja Entertainment, and it brings the two biggest action stars in Bollywood, Akshay, and Tiger together for the first time.

"Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" was also announced for Christmas 2023 release in multiple languages, however, the shoot for the same is yet to begin. If the movie sticks to its originally announced release date, then it will be an unavoidable clash at the box office as "Dunki" is unlikely to shift its release date.
