CM Punk Comments On The Rock's Return And Potential Feud

CM Punk weighed in on The Rock's recent WWE return and the possibility of a renewed rivalry.

While injured, Punk appeared on Raw this week in Chicago. The Rock also appeared, confronting Cody Rhodes before a brutal attack. Fans, especially Punk's hometown crowd, buzzed about a potential Punk-Rock feud.



In a WWE interview, Punk spoke frankly about The Rock's return and lack of mention. He acknowledged he'll likely face everyone eventually, then said:

"I'm glad. I'm glad Rock's back. It makes sense. Good to see he knows his place and stayed quiet. This is a new era in WWE, anything goes. I'll face everyone sooner or later."

This comes after The Rock defeated Punk at the 2013 Royal Rumble, ending Punk's 434-day championship reign. The Rock won their rematch at Elimination Chamber that same year.
