Box Office: Top 5 Biggest Worldwide Opening of 2024 For Indian Movies

Mumbai, September 7 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time was released on September 5th and scored the second biggest opening for a Tamil movie with 100 crores collection at the worldwide box office.

Despite the mixed reviews, The GOAT performed exceptionally well on its first day and had a good hold on Friday, which was a working day. Meanwhile, the film's 100 crores worldwide start is the second biggest opening of the year for an Indian movie, behind only Kalki 2898 AD.



The Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic grossed a huge approximately 178 crores opening. The GOAT, which is Thalapathy Vijay's penultimate movie before his political entry, is only the second Indian movie of 2024 to take a worldwide opening of 100+ crores.
