Box Office: Jailer Fourth Day/First Sunday Early Estimates

Chennai, August 13 - Superstar Rajinikanth's "Jailer" scores another huge day at the domestic box office. The movie sees a jump of around 10% today, the first Sunday/fourth day from the Saturday collection which itself was huge.

The action drama film scores an estimated approx. 45 crores gross collection on Sunday which takes the total collection to approx. 170 crores gross over a 4-day extended weekend. In Tamil Nadu, the movie grossed an estimated 21-22 crores today, pushing the total gross in the state to approx. 80 crores in 4 days.



As far as the net collection is concerned, "Jailer" is nearing the 150 crore mark after an estimated 38 crore net on its fourth day for a total of approx. 146 crores net. The movie will see a dip tomorrow, but collections are expected to remain strong as the day after tomorrow is a holiday.

"Jailer" might hit 200 crores net and approx. 235 crores gross on Tuesday, August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day. Worldwide, the movie has a shot of reaching 300 crores mark by Sunday depending on the overseas collection.
