Box Office: Dream Girl 2 Second Day/First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 26 - After scoring the biggest opening for actor Ayushmann Khurrana, the comedy-drama film "Dream Girl 2" witnesses a very good jump of around 35% on its second day/first Saturday which is a very good sign for the movie.

The early estimates suggest 14-14.50 crores net collection on the film's first Saturday which takes the total collection to around 25 crores net in two days. The 3-day weekend total could be over 40+ net which is a fantastic result.



The movie had a very good opening day in mass pockets like Utter Pradesh, and Bihar while Delhi and Maharashtra also did well. There is a good jump today in these centers as the overall collections are much better than expected before the release which shows the goodwill of the franchise.

Dream Girl 2 comes as a much-needed breather for Ayushmann Khurrana and is very much in a position to emerge as a rare hit for the actor considering the holidays ahead. The hold on Monday will give a fair idea about the acceptance of the movie.
