Big Updates On Marvel Studios' 'Eternals 2' And 'Captain America 4'

Los Angeles, December 27 - Oscar-winning filmmaker, Chloé Zhao made her MCU debut with Eternals last year, and the mystery surrounding its sequel has been going on since then. Since the movie underperformed at the box office, it was reported that the sequel might take a longer than expected time and it seems like things are changing.

Earlier this year, Patton Oswalt revealed a follow-up was in the works in which he was set to return as Pip the Troll. Now, another big update surfaced online that "Eternals 2" is indeed in early development. According to reports, the management agency of Ma Dong-seok/Don Lee, who played Gilgamesh in the first movie, listed he will soon begin work on Eternals 2.



There is no timeline confirmed yet about where will Eternals appear next in the MCU but the direct sequel was confirmed by producer Nate Moore.

Meanwhile, another blockbuster rumor regarding Marvel's one of most anticipated upcoming films Captain America 4 has surfaced online. According to the reports, "Captain America: New World Order's" plot will revolve around/introduce an integral piece to Wolverine from the X-Men.



As per noted insider Daniel Richtman (via The Direct, "Captain America 4" is about "an international conflict over a new metal called Adamantium". It is the same element that coats Wolverine's bones and iconic claws in comics.

The report says that the metal will be discovered on Tiamut Island, the calcified Celestial seen in the final act of 2021's Eternals. The island will be key to the plot of the film with every country [wanting] a piece of that new metal.

Sam Wilson has been attached to play the iconic super soldier aka Captain America in the upcoming film. "Captain America: New World Order" is scheduled to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.
