Bhushan Kumar's T-Series Grabs Music Rights of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' At Huge Price

Mumbai, October 29 - Bhushan Kumar's T-Series has acquired the music rights of Thalapathy Vijay's much-awaited action drama film Varisu. The National Award-winning musician, Thaman S. has composed the music for "Varisu", which is slated to hit screens on Pongal 2023.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, "Varisu" music rights have reportedly been sold at Rs. 5 crores price to T-Series which is the largest studio in the world on YouTube. The movie will also be released in Telugu as "Vaarasudu".



Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, "Varisu" has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead along with R. Sarathkumar, Shaam, Prabhu, and Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, and Jayasudha, among others in key roles.

T-Series took to Twitter and announced the development saying, "T-Series joins hand with Sri Venkateswara Creations as Bhushan Kumar acquires music rights of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie "Varisu". The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and music by Thaman.S, the film stars Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna".
