Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Dream Girl 2' Gets A New Release Date

Mumbai, April 24 - Ayushmann Khurrana's much-awaited social comedy-drama film Dream Girl 2 is again on the movie as the makers have postponed the release to 25 August 2023.

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film was scheduled to hit screens on July 7 this year, after getting postponed from the previous date of 23 June 2023. It is said that the latest reason for the delay in the release is the extensive VFX work required for the film.



"We want Ayushmann Khurrana's character to look perfect as Pooja in Dream Girl 2, and that's why we are taking extra time to perfect the VFX work for the face. We want to ensure that our viewers get the best possible experience when they watch the movie. The VFX work for Dream Girl 2 is an integral part of the movie, and we want to ensure that we deliver a high-quality product to our audiences", producer Ekta Kapoor said.

Ayushmann took to Twitter and announced the new release date in the voice of Pooja. "Pachees badi hai mast mast, kyunki @Pooja_DreamGirl aa rahi hai on 25 अगस्त. #PoojaKiKissOnAug25 #DreamGirl2 releasing in theatres on 25th August, 2023", read the caption.
