Arshad Warsi To Join Shah Rukh Khan's Much-Awaited 'King'

Mumbai, April 19 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited action drama King is generating a significant buzz even though the makers are taking longer than expected time to take it on the floors. The movie reunites King Khan with director Siddharth Anand after the mega blockbuster Pathaan.

King features SRK in the title role alongside his daughter Suhana Khan (in her big-screen debut), Abhishek Bachchan and Munjya fame Abhay Varma. Now, according to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, the makers have roped in Arshad Warsi to play a key role in the film.



While details about Warsi's character remain undisclosed, his involvement is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the film. The upcoming films marks the duo's maiden collaboration, excluding Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye in which SRK made a guest appearnce.

Recently, it was reported that Deepika Padukone would make a cameo appearance in King, but director Siddharth Anand seemingly denied the rumours. However, reports strongly say that she will be part of the movie despite the refusal from the team.

King will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Anand's Marflix. The hugely anticipated blockbuster is expected to start rolling in May this year for grand release in 2026. Meanwhile, Arshad Warsi will next be seen in Jolly LLB 3 with Akshay Kumar. He also has Welcome 3, Dhamaal 4, and Golmaal 5, among others.
