Mumbai, March 12 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has reportedly signed another film while gearing up for the release of highly-awaited Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The Khiladi of Bollywood will be headlining Fukrey director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba's next entertainer, according to Pinkvilla.

It is said that Akshay Kumar recently met the filmmaker and was bowled over by the idea of his next. The superstar has been looking to do more comedy films and this one is said to be an out-and-out comic entertainer, which marries physical and situational comedy.



The film in question will feature an ensemble full of talented actors as the inter-character dynamics will lead to comic scenarios on the screen. It is expected to start rolling in the second half of 2024 and will have a grand release on the big screen in 2025.

Meanwhile, Akshay is currently shooting for Welcome To The Jungle, and will soon start Housefull 5 and Jolly LLB 3. He will next be seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which also stars Tiger Shroff and Prithviraj Sukumaran, among others. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, BMCM is scheduled to release on Eid 2024 in multiple languages.
