Aamir Khan Confirms His Role In Rajinikanth's 'Coolie'

Mumbai, June 13 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that he will be making a cameo appearance in director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, starring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role among others.

While promoting his upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan responded to a fan's question during the interview with Zoom. He revealed that he is a big fan of Rajinikanth and agreed to play the cameo role when Lokesh approached him without hearing the script.



"I enjoyed doing it. I am a big fan of Rajini sir... huge fan. I have a lot of love and respect for Rajini sir. So, I did not even hear the script. When Lokesh told me that it is a Rajini sir's movie and that he wanted me to do a cameo, I said, Done. I am doing it. Whatever it is, I am doing it", he said (via Bollywood Hungama).

Produced by Sun Pictures, Coolie is one of the most-anticipated Indian films. The Tamil-language pan-India action blockbuster also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, and Monisha Blessy in key roles.

Meanwhile, Aamir is gearing up for the release of comedy drama Sitaare Zameen Par, which is slated to hit the big screen on June 20. It is a remake of the Spanish film Champions and also stars Genelia Deshmukh alongside 10 newcomers in key roles.
