Mumbai, April 23, 2021: Gujarati actor Amit Mistry, who is known for working in Bollywood movies like Kya Kehna, A Gentleman, Shor In The City, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, has passed away on April 23 due to cardiac arrest.

The Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) expressed condolences on the demise of Amit Mistry. The official Twitter handle of the association paid tribute to the actor and informed fans that he was a member since 2004.

Mistry was quite a popular face on Indian television. He had worked in TV shows like Tenali Rama, Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie, Ssshhhh...Koi Hai, Shubh Mangal Savadhan, and Maddam Sir which is currently airing on Sab TV.

He has also starred in Amazon Prime Video's recently released romantic drama web series, Bandish Bandits.
