'83' the film will release in the theaters first

The uncertainty over Ranveer Singh starrer 83 the film about its release due to coronavirus pandemic has come to an end as the makers have decided to release the film in the theaters first when the time will be appropriate.

There were speculations over the film that makers might release it on the Digital platform but Kabir Khan, the director of the film confirms that despite receiving big offers from the OTT platforms, makers have decided to make it a theatrical release first.



Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also confirms,

83 the film is based on India's maiden ODI World Cup win in 1983. Ranveer Singh has played the role of Kapil Dev who led India in the 1983 World Cup. It is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Phantom Films, Kabir Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Sajid Nadiadwala.
