Hyderabad, 16 Sep 2022: Here is the movie review of Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali which got released on 16th September 2022.
INTRODUCTION
After the "Sammohanam" and "V" movies, both hero Sudheer Babu and Director Indraganti Mohan Krishna joined hands for their third film titled "Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali". Let's see how the film is.
STORY
Naveen ( Sudheer Babu) is a successful filmmaker with back-to-back commercial blockbusters. In his perception, the audience is logical and keeps on making commercial-format movies with a hit track record. Accidentally he gets a cinema reel from a trashed van. Curious Naveen will pull the film out of it and witness a girl's (Alekhya) few minutes of acting footage inside it. He goes on searching for the girl and finally gets her identity by using his team. Naveen reaches Alekhya and asks her to act in his next film. Has he been able to do so should be witnessed by us on the big screen?
ARTIST'S PERFORMANCE
Sudheer Babu has enacted both hyper and settled variations with ease. Even though Sudheer is a good actor, he is somewhat weak in acting in emotional scenes. But he surpassed that demerit with good acting in this film. Vennela Kishore is a comic relief. Avasarala Srinivasa Rao in a Cameo is excellent. Srikanth Iyengar as Alekhya's father is great and gave a natural performance. Surprisingly Rahul Rama Krishna acted in a serious role but gave a superb performance. Coming to the heroine Krithi Shetty, this is a tailor-made film for her. She is gorgeous on the screen and the heart & soul of this movie. Her debut movie Uppena is a sensational blockbuster. Unfortunately, she didn't gain that response with her later movies. But just as this movie's title says " Ye Krithi Shetty acting Yurinchi Meeku Cheppali". Her Cute smile and acting skills in emotional scenes are amazing. This movie is completely hers. She steals the show.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS
Like in all Indraganti movies the technical values are superb. Music by Vivek Sagar is soulful. Both his BGM & songs are situational and aptly suited to the film. The camera work is decent. Production values are high and that richness can be seen on the screen. Editing is just okay as a few lag scenes can be chopped off to appeal to a common audience. Director Indraganti Mohan Krishna is well known to make movies with Sensible subjects yet possessing witty humour. This movie is also in line with his style but unfortunately, this is not for everyone who wants Funny Commercial entertainers. In some places, you can observe some scenes similar to his previous movies like Sammohanam and others. His Narrative in this movie is a tad slow but classy.
THUMPS UP MERITS
Performances of all actors, especially Krithi and Sudheer
Decent comedy scenes are evenly placed
Music and BGM
Funny first half
LETDOWN DRAWBACKS
Tad Slow Narration
Few boring scenes
Too much melodrama at some places in the second half
CONCLUSION
Indraganti Mohan Krishna is one such director who tries different genres with every film. He has a separate fan base for his style of sensible filmmaking. He tried to showcase the realistic side of people in the film industry. It means he showed the lives of both Successful people and Struggling people in the film industry along with the connection and environment with their friends and families but with a Classic Art movie kind of Narration. This movie is emotional and not for everyone. There are no Adult scenes or bad language and can be watchable with your family. If you keep your expectations low and are okay with Slow Narration, and a few melodramatic scenes then you can watch this movie in this weekend which is Classy, decent, emotional and neat.
