Mumbai, July 7 - Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD clocks 49+ crores net collection in its second weekend in the dubbed Hindi version after big Sunday. The movie witnessed a drop of around 40% from the first Friday to Sunday weekend which is an excellent hold. ## The Nag Ashwin's directorial sci-fi epic crossed the 200 crores net mark after scoring an estimated 22-23 crores net (+22%) on its second Sunday (11th day) in Hindi, pushing the total to around 212 crores net. Subject to the official collection, it may or may not have crossed Fighter (212.80 crores net approx) to become the biggest Hindi grosser of the year. ## The excellent second-weekend hold signifies acceptance among the general movie lovers and this should help it to have long legs at the box office. The movie is performing equally well in multiplex and mass pockets which is another good sign for its longevity. The target for it will be to top RRR (272.80 crores net approx.) and with one more push, it might touch 300 crore net also in Hindi. ## In all versions, Kalki witnessed a jump of around +20% today for an estimated 48+ crore gross collection, pushing the total domestic gross to an estimated 603 crores (507 crores net) in just 11 days. Mumbai, July 7 - The International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed on Sunday that it recorded 1.3 billion views in the first 24 hours after the final match of the T2O World Cup between India and South Africa on June 29 across ICC digital channels. ## India defeated South Africa in the final to end their ICC trophy drought of 10 years to win their second T20 World Cup. The victory led to a massive celebration in the country and the ICC also made the most of it by sharing unseen videos on its digital platforms, scoring record viewership. ## The most watched video on the ICC digital channel in the 24 hours after the final was a dance video in which Virat Kohli can be seen shaking legs with Arshdeep Singh and other players. It scored 124 million views. Mumbai, July 7 - Director Aditya Dhar has been trying to set up his second directorial venture after delivering one of the biggest blockbusters in 2019 with URI: The Surgical Strike. The filmmaker has had difficulties in taking his next film on floors due to financial hurdles. ## Dhar was set to make the ambitious The Immortal Ashwatthama with Vicky Kaushal but due to its massive budget, it was shelved. The filmmaker then started on a new script, touted to be an action thriller and reportedly locked Ranveer Singh to headline it. Now, there is an update on the same. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, the movie has tentatively been titled Dhurandhar and Aditya Dhar has locked a stellar ensemble cast for the same. The report states that along with Ranveer Singh, the filmmaker has locked Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal to play pivotal roles. ## The report further said that although the actors are still not contractually signed, they are believed to have been creatively locked, and all other modalities are quickly being worked out. The movie is touted to be a fast-paced, mission-based action thriller.## Dhar will produce the film with his brother Lokesh Dhar under their banner B62 Studios, in partnership with a major studio as the movie will be made on a huge scale with a huge budget and will be shot in India and overseas. Mumbai, July 7 - Kalki 2898 AD continues to run riot at the ticket window and has already sold over 2.50 crores of tickets in the first 10 days in all languages. Now, the movie has unlocked another milestone on the ticketing platform, Book My Show. ## The Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic has become the first film of 2024 to sell 10 million tickets on Book My Show as it achieved this feat on July 7th. After opening pre-sales sales on June 23, Kalki 2898 AD sold around 6.50 million tickets till June 30. ## Kalki remained rock solid during the weekdays, and from July 1st to July 6th, it sold around 3.35 million tickets, for a total of around 9.75 million tickets on BMS. Mumbai, July 7 - With one eye on the ultimate milestone of 1000 crores gross, Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has crossed 750 crores at the worldwide box office in just 10 days, the first Indian movie to do so since Ranbir Kapoor's Animal in December last year. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki witnessed a jump of over 100% to gross around 40 crores at the domestic box office on its second Saturday while the worldwide collection for the day was over 50 crores gross to take the total global cume to around 760 crores in 10 days. ## In India, the film has grossed an estimated 555 crores while overseas collection is 205 crores in 10 days so far. Mumbai, July 6 - Kalki 2898 AD exploded on its second Saturday at the Hindi box office with a massive jump of around 90% from Friday which is sensational. The overall jump for all versions is over 100% which speaks a lot about the acceptance of the movie among the general audience. ## The Hindi version of the movie was breathing fire today as it scored an estimated 18-19 crore net and it could go a little higher depending on the single screens. The second weekend is looking to be around 50 crores, a drop of just around 40% from the first Friday to Sunday weekend.## The total collection of Kalki 2898 AD Hindi version is around 190 crores in 10 days and tomorrow, on its second Sunday, it will not only top 200 crores net but will also have a chance to beat Hrithik Roshan's Fighter (212.80 crores net approx.) to become the biggest Hindi grosser of the year domestically. ## In all versions, Kalki minted an estimated 40+ crores gross on its second Saturday, with an estimated jump of around 105% from yesterday. Los Angeles, July 6 - Another day and another milestone achieved by Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD as it has become the fastest Indian film ever to top $15 million at the North American box office, reaching the mark in just 10 days. ## The Nag Ashwin's directorial sci-fi epic is only the 6th Indian movie ever to reach the $15 million mark in NA, and with its 10th-day collection, it has surpassed Ranbir Kapoor's Animal, which grossed $15 million and has also beaten RRR ($15.20 million) and Jawan ($15.25 million) at the end of its second weekend to become the 3rd highest-grossing Indian title there. ## Kalki 2898 AD has been an unstoppable force since its premiere on June 26 in North America. Mumbai, July 6 - Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu's Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been announced to release on August 2, 2024. The romantic thriller is directed by Neeraj Pandey and also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Saiee Manjrekar playing pivotal roles. ## Produced by Friday Filmworks, NH Studioz, and Panorama Studios, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was scheduled to be released in July but the makers postponed it to avoid a clash with Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD which is performing brilliantly at the Hindi box office. ## As reported earlier, the makers also discussed releasing the film on July 26 but eventually decided on August 2. Chennai, July 6 - One of the most anticipated Tamil movies in the making, superstar Rajinikanth's action thriller film Coolie has started filming on July 5, the makers officially confirmed the development on social media. ## The movie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. As the shoot of the movie has commenced, actress Shruti Haasan has been confirmed as one of the female cast as she will reportedly play the role of Rajinikanth's sister. ## Shruti Haasan herself confirmed her casting in Coolie with a picture from the sets of the film on Instagram which she deleted later. It will be the first time she will star alongside the legendary actor.
