The 18th Backlash professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event, produced by the WWE, is eagerly anticipated by fans. The event will feature talented wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions, and is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. ## This event is of great significance as it will be the first WWE event held in Puerto Rico since New Year's Revolution in January 2005. Additionally, it is only the second Backlash event to be held outside the continental United States since the 2004 event. ## After the last two years featured events titled "WrestleMania Backlash," the 2023 event will return to its original name while still retaining its post-WrestleMania concept. This year's Backlash will focus on the backlash stemming from WrestleMania 39. ## Furthermore, the event will feature the highly anticipated appearance of Puerto Rican native and Grammy Award-winning rapper, Bad Bunny. Initially promoted as the host of Backlash, it was later revealed that he will be competing in a San Juan Street Fight against Damian Priest, who is also of Puerto Rican descent. According to reports by WrestlingNews.co, WWE may finally fulfill the desires of Gunther and fans alike with a highly anticipated match against Brock Lesnar. Initially planned for WrestleMania 39, the match was nixed and replaced with Lesnar facing Omos, an idea from Vince McMahon, while Gunther defended his Intercontinental Title in a triple threat match against Sheamus and Drew McIntyre. ## Gunther has expressed in past interviews his eagerness to face Lesnar, considering it the biggest challenge of his career and praising Lesnar's business acumen. WWE has teased a showdown between the two stars in the 30-Man Royal Rumble match. ## Recently, the idea of Gunther squaring off against Lesnar has been discussed backstage, with a potential match scheduled for this summer, as reported by the WRKD Wrestling Twitter account. ## Possible venues for the match could be Money in the Bank in July at The O2 Arena in London, England, or SummerSlam in August at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Solo Sikoa Vs Kevin Owens Full Match & Winner. ## The match kicks off with a flurry of punches exchanged between Kevin Owens and Solo Sikoa. Solo follows up with a punishing punch in the corner and slams Kevin's leg into the mat, targeting it as a vulnerable spot. ## Solo then places Kevin's leg on the ropes and ruthlessly stomps on it, inflicting more damage. Despite Kevin's efforts to fight back with punches, Solo counters with a powerful back elbow. Solo's assault continues as he kicks Kevin to the floor, where he is joined by Jimmy and Jey, who watch from a distance as Solo pummels Kevin. ## Kevin retaliates by Irish whipping Solo into the ring steps, but the determined Solo quickly rebounds and re-enters the ring. He then attempts a superplex, but Kevin fights back with elbows to halt Solo's momentum. Kevin retaliates with a powerful elbow strike, sending Solo crashing to the mat. Kevin follows up with a breathtaking frog splash, coming agonizingly close to getting the three-count. ## Kevin continues his offense with a kick and attempts to hit his signature stunner, but Solo pushes him away and counters with a pop-up Samoan drop, showcasing his strength. However, Kevin regains his composure and successfully delivers a pop-up powerbomb, slamming Solo onto the mat. ## Solo narrowly evades a stunner attempt by Kevin, and at that moment, Jey Uso intervenes with a superkick while Jimmy Uso distracts the referee. Undeterred, Solo retaliates with a thunderous superkick of his own, followed by his signature Samoan Spike maneuver.
