Divya Khosla Kumar Attacks Alia Bhatt For Allegedly Faking Collection of 'Jigra'

BY SACNILK

Mumbai, October 12 - Actress Divya Khosla Kumar has called out Bollywood star Alia Bhatt for allegedly faking the collection of her latest movie Jigra. The former took to Instagram stories to point out alleged malpractice. ## In her Insta stories, Divya shared a photo of an empty theatre and claimed that all theatres are going empty for Jigra. The actress also alleged that Alia has bought tickets by herself and announced a fake collection of her movie, Jigra. ## "Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty... all theatres going empty everywhere. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Wonder why paid media is silent. #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra Х (sic)", she wrote. ## While the exact reason behind Divya's allegations is not known yet, it has been reported that she had a feud with Alia recently. According to News18, Divya recently reacted to the similarities between her film Savi and Alia Bhatt's Jigra.## Savi, also starring Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor, is about a housewife trying to break her husband out of a high-security prison in England, inspired by the Savitri and Satyavan story. In Jigra, Alia Bhatt's character plans a jailbreak to rescue her brother from prison.## Meanwhile, Jigra earned approximately 4.50 crores net collection on its opening day. The movie is getting a mixed reception from the audience but the festive season is expected to give a boost to its collection. ## Stay tuned...

G. Prabha To Release Second Sanskrit Movie After His Award-Winning Film 'Ishti'

BY SACNILK

Dr. G. Prabha, a retired professor and head of the department of Sanskrit at Loyola College in Chennai, is going to come out with his second Sanskrit movie 'Taya' after his award-winning Sanskrit film 'Ishti'. Ishti was the opening movie at the International Film Festival of India in Goa in 2016 and had won global acclaim at the Pyongyang film festival in South Korea. ## The second film, Taya, is a women-centric film based on a woman from the Brahmin clan taking revenge against a group of Brahmin men who had exploited her friend. Taya is a Sanskrit word meaning 'By Her' in English and the director is also scripting the movie which is a low-budget film produced by Tamil Nadu-based producer Gokulam Gopalan.## Taya has a strong cast including national award winner Nedumudi Venu and Anumol, with Sunny Joseph as the cinematographer.## "The movie is women-centric and brings out the trauma of the Nambudiri women of Kerala in the early 19th century. In this movie, we are trying to narrate the story of a Nambudiri girl who was exploited by several Nambudiri men and was killed when she was to spill the beans. Her friend, Savitri, takes up the issue and threatens all those who had exploited her friend of taking them before the authorities", Prabha told IANS. ## The crew is expected to wind up the shoot by March 25 and complete all the other formalities by the end of April. The crew is expecting support from the Government of India under the Sanskrit promotion schemes as very few films are made in the language.## "We will definitely approach the government of India and the Ministry of Culture for support and to try and get some assistance", the director said.## Stay tuned...
