Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan-Starrer Psychological Thriller 'Chup' Sets September 23, 2022, Release Date

Mumbai, August 25 - Director R Balki has finalized the release date of Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan's Chup: Revenge of the Artist. The psychological thriller film that also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhatt as the female leads will be released worldwide on September 23, 2022. ## Billed as an homage to master filmmaker Guru Dutt and his 1959 classic "Kaagaz Ke Phool", - "Chup" is produced by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Anil Naidu, Dr. Jayantilal Gada (PEN Studios), and Gauri Shinde. The all-India distributing partner is Pen Marudhar. ## Meanwhile, the film also marks legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan's debut as a music composer. Mr. Bachchan is a frequent collaborator of R Balki and has created the end title track of the movie. "It marks the official debut of Amitabh Bachchan as a music composer. Amitji saw ‘Chup’ and played an instinctive original melody on his piano as he relived the film", the filmmaker said according to The Print. ## "It was his way of expressing his feelings for the film, paying a tribute. This composition, his gift to the film, will be the end title track of Chup.
