Mumbai, January 31 - Last year, it was reported that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be teaming up with his daughter Suhana Khan to headline director Sujoy Ghosh's directorial. The movie was reportedly titled The King and was supposed to go on floors early this year. ## Suhana Khan recently made her acting debut with director Zoya Akhtar's "The Archies" which was directly released on Netflix. The film failed to provide a memorable launch pad for Suhana, and it looks like she will have to wait a bit longer to taste the success. ## According to the latest reports, SRK has put "The King", in which he was supposed to play an extended role, on hold as it is said that he isn't keen on his daughter being subjected to unfair comparisons to the superstar, especially after "The Archies". SRK himself is looking to play larger-than-life roles after the king of success he has had in the last year in the form of "Pathaan", "Jawan", and "Dunki". ## "I don’t think that project is happening, not after The Archies. Suhana needs to find a project as far removed from her father as possible. Earlier, SRK was tempted to get on camera with his daughter ASAP. Hyderabad, January 30 - Telugu cinema will be on a roll in the next couple of years with back-to-back Pan India biggies lined up for the release. In 2023, some of the biggest Tollywood stars will be in action with films that are some of the most anticipated ones among the nationwide audiences. ## The trade is quite optimistic about the upcoming Pan-Indian films regarding their box-office prospects, however, projections are split as far as their overseas business is concerned. According to the latest reports in Tollywood media, the overseas rights of Devara, Game Changer, Vishwambhara, and OG are locked. ## Jr. NTR-led "Devara" is easily one of the biggest Telugu films that reunited him with director Koratala Siva. The film was scheduled to release on April 5 this year but has now reportedly been postponed to a new date. It is said that Hamsini Entertainment has acquired the overseas theatrical rights of the film for 27 crores. The movie is expected to be released in August this year. ## Jr. NTR's "RRR" co-star Ram Charan teamed up with director Shankar for a political action drama film titled "Game Changer". The movie has been in production since 2022 but the shoot got delayed due to Shankar's other commitments. The makers are now planning to release the film in September this year. ## According to reports, the overseas theatrical rights of "Game Changer" have been bagged by Phars Films for 23 crores. The overseas business of the movie got hit by the continuous delay but it is expected to fetch good business for the domestic market. ## Megastar Chiranjeevi teamed up with director Mallidi Vassishta for a socio-fantasy film titled "Vishwambhara". The makers recently released a concept first look teaser which instantly caught the attention of the fans. The movie is carrying a very good buzz among the audiences as well as the trade and as a result, it fetched a good overseas deal. As per reports, Sarigama Cinemas acquired the overseas rights of Vishwambhara for 18 crores which is very good business. It will be released on Sankranthi 2025. ## Action drama "OG", starring superstar Pawan Kalyan, is another big Telugu film in production. Directed by Sujeeth, the movie is shaping up to be the biggest film in Pawan Kalyan's career and there is genuine curiosity among the fans. Phars Films is said to have acquired the overseas rights of it for 18 crores. The film has crossed the 250 crores gross mark, surpassing the expectations of trade and it is still not done yet. ## As the movie continues its glorious journey at the box office, it has been reportedly blessed with an extended theatrical window, unlike other Telugu movies. Mumbai, January 27 - Hrithik Roshan's Fighter, after the big jump of around 75% on Republic Day, shows a very good hold in the collection on Saturday/third day. The movie did well to beat the opening day numbers and beat them comfortably. ## The film needed to score above the first-day collection and try to reach around thirty crores net which it has done as early estimates suggest the third-day collection in the range of 28 crores net (final collection may vary on either side depending on single screens). The movie has a jump of around 25% over the first day. ## The total collection of the movie is around 90 crores net in three days and it is set to enter 100 crores net club by tomorrow, on Sunday (4th day). The 4-day weekend is expected to be around 125 crores net which is a very good collection after the underwhelming start. ## Fighter is best performing in urban areas while mass centers are also showing improvement due to positive word of mouth. The real test of the film will be on Monday which will give a better look at how good WOM is. Mumbai, January 25 - After a decent opening day collection of approximately 22.50 crores net, Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth Anand's Fighter has witnessed a massive turnaround on Republic Day as collection jumped by around 70% which is excellent. ## A more than 50% jump was a must for Fighter on the second day to take advantage of the holiday after the decent start, but here, the film showed a huge improvement over the opening day as early estimates suggest collection in the range of 38 crores net. ## The positive word of mouth showed its effect as mass centres scored big jumps as a collection in some of the centres doubled up from the first day. The final collection might be around 40 crores but it depends on how strong non-urban areas in overall. ## The total collection of Fighter is around 61+ crores net in two days which is a very good number after the lower-than-expected start. Mumbai, January 25 - Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth Anand's third film together Fighter hit the big screens today. The film had underwhelming pre-sales for the opening day which left so much on-the-spot booking for the chances of a big opening at the box office.## The movie had a slow start in the morning with an average occupancy of around 10-15% before witnessing a minor jump in the afternoon and a further improvement in the evening and night shows, however, the big jump in the occupancy was missing throughout the day. ## Fighter managed to cross the 20 crores net mark as early estimates suggest the opening in the range of 21-22 crores net. The opening can be called a decent though a much better start was expected from the combo of Hrithik and Siddharth. The business of the film mostly came from urban areas as mass centres remained on the lower side on the opening day. ## The initial word of mouth seems to be on the positive side which is a must for the movie. The bookings for the second day, which also happens to be Republic Day, are much better and the film will look to score a big jump tomorrow. A jump of at least 50% is what the movie will need to get the advantage of the holiday. ## The movie will target the opening of 100+ crores net over the 4-day weekend. Mumbai, January 24 - A couple of days after the reports of Bollywood power couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt along with Vicky Kaushal teaming up with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the star filmmaker has officially confirmed that the development.## The official announcement of the film was made on January 24 with the title Love and War. It is a love story set against the backdrop of war, believed to be loosely based on Raj Kapoor's 1964 classic, "Sangam". The movie marks the reunion of Kapoor and Bhansali who previously collaborated "Saawariya" which was the former's debut as a lead hero. ## Alia Bhatt also reuniting with SLB after the "Gangubai Kathiawadi" in 2022.
