'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Enters The List Of Top 10 Highest-Grossing Films Of All Time

Mumbai, January 10 - Marvel and Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is now on the elite list of the highest-grossing films worldwide of all time. With a $1.53 billion global cume, "No Way Home" is now the 8th highest-grossing film of all time. It surpassed "The Avengers" ($1.518B), and "Furious 7" ($1.516B) to break into the list of top 10 worldwide grosser.

The Tom Holland-fronted superhero film is the biggest grossing title worldwide since "The Lion King" ($1.662 billion) in summer 2019. If "No Way Home" grosses a little over $100 million more worldwide, then it will cross "The Lion King" and "Jurassic World" ($1.67 billion) to become the 6th highest-grossing film of all time, and most likely to finish with that rank.



The film's $1.53 billion come through $668.8 million domestically (North America), and $867.5 million overseas. Currently, it is the 6th biggest-grossing title in North America. It is likely to finish domestic box office run with number 4, ahead of "Black Panther" ($700M).

"Spider-Man: No Way Home's" grosses are phenomenal considering many factors. Unlike the other top grossers, this Jon Watts-directed was released amid the covid-19 pandemic and still going strong when the cases are on the rise again due to the highly infectious Omicron variant. Plus, most of the countries have announced fresh restrictions on theaters. Despite all the hurdles, "No Way Home" continues to attract moviegoers worldwide.
