Yash Raj Films Releases A Special 'Prithviraj' Poster To Celebrate Akshay Kumar's 30 Years In Bollywood

Mumbai, May 4 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has completed 30 years in the Bollywood film industry. One of the finest actors India ever has, Akshay made his Bollywood debut as a lead hero with Saugandh in 1991, and he never looked back since then.

The versatile actor is now gearing up for one of the biggest movies of his career, "Prithviraj", which releases on June 3rd in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. This film is based on the life and valour of the fearless and mighty Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan and Akshay is portraying the role of the legendary warrior who fought valiantly against the merciless invader Muhammad of Ghor.



Meanwhile, Yash Raj Films production house, on Wednesday (May 4), celebrated Akshay's 30 years in the film industry by releasing a special "Prithviraj" poster along with a surprising video. In the video, we can see Akshay Kumar entering a room with director Chandraprakash Dwivedi, where he is being asked to unveil a poster that is covered with red cloth.

Akshay left impressed with YRF's gesture and said that he didn't think YRF was going to do this activity to celebrate his 30 years. The actor also remembered his debut movie and the first shot of his film career which was shot at Ooty and it was an action shot.

Prithviraj is directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who is best known for directing the television epic Chanakya. Former Miss World, Manushi Chhillar plays the role of King Prithviraj's beloved Sanyogita in her debut movie. It also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in key roles.
