Philadelphia, August 15, 2023 - Just over a week has passed since SummerSlam, and the ongoing focal point remains The Bloodline's key members: Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Jey "Deuces Uces" Uso, and the betrayer of Jey at the aforementioned event, Jimmy Uso.

Nevertheless, thoughts are already circulating about WWE's plans for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, next spring. One individual potentiall y involved in the process is WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events, Brian "Road Dogg" James.



In the recent edition of his podcast, "Oh You Didn't Know," the former New Age Outlaws member shared his insights. With his finger seemingly not yet on the pulse of Mania's direction, he unveiled his hypothetical choice for the ultimate WrestleMania main event, if he were at the helm of WWE's booking.

"I'm gonna say Cody vs. Roman 2," Road Dogg said. "That's what I'm saying. And I think ... I don't know what else you go with, unless something else really blows up quick, you know what I mean? 'Cause this thing's hotter than fire right now, man. And it just feels so good, it feels so right. 

"And people were so mad that he didn't get it the first time, and that 'He's got to finish the story ...' This dude has caught on as a real babyface, and a real-life babyface, not a character. You know what I mean? He's done something that very few have done and he continues to do it. So that's my pick."

WrestleMania 40 Ticket Updates

WWE has clarified that there are no single-day tickets priced at $10,000 for WrestleMania. The top-tier cost remains at $5,000 for direct purchase, consistent with the pricing structure in Los Angeles. The starting price remains at $25, just as it was in Los Angeles, maintaining the same initial cost point for the first round of ticket sales for both events.
