Welcome to the live coverage of The 2023 Survivor Series: WarGames, taking place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The event consists of five matches, focusing on the Men's and Women's WarGames matches.

In the Men's WarGames match, Cody Rhodes, Seth "Freakin" Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Randy Orton will compete against The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Bálor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh) and Drew McIntyre.



Meanwhile, Plush, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch will face off against Damage CTRL (Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane) in the Women's WarGames match. Apart from the WarGames matches, Rhea Ripley will defend her Women's World Championship title against Zoey Stark.

Additionally, Gunther will put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against The Miz, while Dragon Lee will take on Santos Escobar in a singles match.

The broadcast kicks off by delving into the Women's War Games match, accompanied by a comprehensive video package. Kayla takes the stage and sets the tone for a heated competition by reading out the rules for War Games.

Wade throws his support behind Damage CTRL, with Booker agreeing. However, Peter opts for Team Flair, earning agreement from Jackie. Kayla, as an impartial journalist, reminds everyone of the need for neutrality.

Transitioning to the clash between Dragon Lee and Santos Escobar, a video package provides insights into their intense rivalry. Byron Saxton catches up with Santos Escobar for an interview.



When asked about facing Dragon Lee in the absence of Carlito, Santos challenges the term 'attacked.' He emphasizes that he delivered justice, seeking retribution for the times he spent in Rey's shadow. Santos criticizes mentors who act as gatekeepers, claiming that Dragon Lee lacks the will to succeed. According to Santos, Lee's career will suffer, serving as a cautionary tale for those who betray him.

Wade surprisingly picks Santos, acknowledging Dragon Lee as the future. Booker and Peter side with Wade, while Jackie abstains, playfully citing fear of Kayla.

Shifting focus to Zoey Stark vs. Rhea Ripley, the panel is joined by Greg Miller. Wade backs Ripley based on experience, while Booker believes Zoey has nothing to lose and will emerge victorious. Peter aligns with Ripley.

Women’s War Games Match: Damage CTRL vs Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch leads her team into battle against Bayley's team, and she dominates from the start. Bayley tries to use the cage to her advantage, but Becky quickly takes control of the match with a series of powerful moves, including a flying forearm, a back heel kick, clothesline, and an exploder.

Bayley attempts to turn the tide with a suplex on the metal plate, but Becky counters with ease. The fight spills between the rings, leading to a brutal suplex by Bayley on the metal. Dakota Kai enters the match with a kendo stick, but Becky manages to release her DisArmHer on Bayley. However, Bayley retaliates with a kendo stick, but Becky isn't phased.

Shotzi enters the match with energy and uses the cage door against Bayley, bringing chairs and a trash can into the mix. She delivers impactful chair shots to Bayley and executes a cross body off the turnbuckles. Meanwhile, Becky engages in a tug of war over the kendo stick with Dakota. Shotzi and Becky use chairs to corner Bayley, but Bayley manages to climb the cage and turn the tables.

Iyo Sky enters the match with a chain, but Becky and Shotzi aren't intimidated. They endure forearms from Iyo and a double superplex between the rings. Bianca Belair enters the match and her unique hair whip disrupts the double superplex attempt. She proceeds to unleash her powerful moves on Bayley, Iyo, and Becky. Bianca collaborates with Shotzi for a double suplex and enables a frog splash from Shotzi on Iyo, followed by a leg drop from Becky on Bayley.

Kairi Sane enters the match with a giant trash can lid, which she employs with precision, delivering a back fist and drop kick to various opponents. Iyo exploits the chain, but Becky and Shotzi fight back. Charlotte Flair enters the match with impactful moves, including a backbreaker, flatliner, and a Flair Flip. Charlotte's dominance leads to a double Natural Selection and a face-off with Becky.

Asuka enters the match and marks the beginning of the Match Beyond, introducing kendo sticks, a table, and a fire extinguisher into the mix. Teams Damage CTRL and Becky's unite in their respective rings, with kendo sticks in hand. Becky and Asuka clash, but Bayley intervenes with a kendo stick. Bianca and Becky are tied up with a chair, leading to a quadruple dropkick. Asuka sprays mist on Shotzi, executing a missile dropkick. Kairi and Iyo set up a table, and Bianca stops a double superplex. A chaos of chair shots and whip lashes from Bianca follows, concluding with a moonsault from Charlotte.

The Match Beyond commences as Asuka takes control with various weapons. Teams engage in a frenzied brawl, with Becky applying the DisArmHer and Charlotte bridging the figure four. The chaos unfolds with chairs, tables, and various weapons, culminating in a Manhandle Slam by Becky on Bayley through a table for the decisive three-count. Becky and her team emerge victorious.

During the backstage segment, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Alpha Academy confidently express their thoughts about their performance. Green expresses her frustration that Chicago didn't get to see her in action, and Piper agrees, stating that they would have been a massive hit with the crowd.

In the Ruffles Lounge, Pretty Deadly enters, and they engage in a playful discussion about the terminology for snacks. Otis joins the conversation, calling them "chips," sparking a friendly argument over the correct term. Suddenly, R Truth picks up a bowl, claiming he's been present all along and declares that they are not chips or crisps but Ruffles. He urges everyone to come together and enjoy watching Tozawa perform the Ruffles Shuffle.

In another scene, Sami Zayn is backstage with Jey Uso, discussing Randy Orton's absence. Jey expresses his concerns that Randy won't team up with them due to their previous actions that led to Randy being sidelined. Sami acknowledges the history they share, recalling their unity in War Games, and firmly states that he remains optimistic that the same camaraderie will prevail tonight.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Gunther vs. Miz

Miz initiates the bout with a calculated series of kicks, targeting Gunther's leg. But Gunther swiftly counters with a wrist lock, prompting another kick from Miz. The two engage in a lockup, resulting in Gunther backing Miz into the corner. Miz seizes the opportunity with chops, but Gunther retaliates with a powerful chop, sending Miz to the mat. Miz rebounds with a flurry of punches and kicks to the head, attempting to gain control.

Taking the fight to the turnbuckles, Miz unleashes boots to Gunther's midsection and follows up with punches. Miz then ventures to the outside, slamming Gunther's leg into the apron and setting up for a figure-four around the ring post, demonstrating his technical prowess. But Gunther counters with a boot to the head, showcasing his resilience, unleashing a series of chops and a boot to the head, asserting his dominance in the match.

Miz attempts a comeback with kicks and chops, but Gunther's relentless offense prevails. A German suplex from Gunther showcases his strength, and Miz finds himself struggling. Gunther delivers a kick, plays to the crowd, and proceeds to punish Miz further. Miz tries to mount an offense, landing a rana after a failed power bomb attempt from Gunther. The momentum shifts as Miz connects with a round kick to Gunther. More kicks to the midsection follow, and Miz takes advantage of Gunther in the turnbuckles with a running knee. Miz attempts a tornado DDT, securing a near fall. Gunther escapes a Skull Crushing Finale and counters with a dropkick. Despite Gunther's power bomb attempt, Miz manages to kick out.

Gunther locks in a sleeper, but Miz reaches for the ropes. Miz resorts to removing the turnbuckle pad, using the distraction to deliver a low blow when the referee attempts to fix it. Miz executes a Skull Crushing Finale, but Gunther defiantly kicks out. The match intensifies as Miz runs Gunther into the exposed turnbuckle, nearly securing victory. However, Gunther rallies, delivering a thunderous chop and a clothesline.

Gunther ascends to the top turnbuckle for a frog splash, landing on Miz's back. Seizing the moment, Gunther transitions into a Boston Crab, strategically pulling Miz to the center of the ring. With a seamless shift, Gunther converts the hold into a Liontamer, compelling Miz to tap out and securing the victory with a show of his remarkable strength and skill.

# Singles Match: Santos Escobar vs Dragon Lee

With the sound of the bell, Lee attempts a kick, but it misses its mark. Santos seizes the opportunity and launches a barrage of forearms and kicks, displaying his dominance. Santos then executes a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Lee, nearly pinning him. Santos continues his assault with relentless kicks to Lee's back.

Taking advantage of the situation, Santos places Lee in the tree of woe and delivers kicks while the referee issues a warning. Santos then charges with a hesitation dropkick into the corner, securing another near fall. Santos punches Lee and sets up a running double knee strike, which lands. Lee is sent to the floor and collides with the unforgiving ring steps. Santos, determined to end the match, places Lee's leg in the steps, threatening to break it. However, Lee fights back with elbows, freeing his leg. A thrust kick from Lee allows him to re-enter the ring, and he follows up with a leaping head scissors over the top rope, concluding with a daring flip dive onto Santos.

Back in the ring, Lee executes a running knee to the head, earning a near fall. He then hoists Santos onto his shoulders and slams him to the mat, showcasing his impressive strength. Lee attempts to capitalize from the turnbuckles, but Santos interferes, using kicks to deter him. Despite Santos's efforts, Lee fights back with punches, sending Santos against the turnbuckles. Lee returns to the top rope, and after overcoming Santos's interference, lands a punch.

Santos retaliates with a superkick as Lee crumples to the mat. Both competitors are momentarily down, but they rally and exchange fierce forearms. Santos gains the upper hand with a knee strike, yet Lee responds with a jumping knee of his own. A back-and-forth ensues until Lee attempts Destino, only for Santos to counter with a Destroyer and a final maneuver, the Phantom Driver, securing the decisive three-count.

Raw Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley vs Zoey Stark

As the match gets underway, Rhea and Zoey exchange words, and Rhea slaps Zoey. Zoey retaliates with a fierce slap, initiating a physical confrontation. Zoey quickly takes control with a double-leg takedown and a series of powerful punches. Rhea responds with her own barrage of punches, leading to a heated exchange between the two.

Zoey executes a dropkick that sends Rhea flying out of the ring, setting the stage for Zoey's impressive crossbody from the top rope upon Rhea's return. Zoey continues to dominate with a springboard dropkick and a near fall. Rhea tries to counter with a headbutt, but Zoey responds with a forearm, a kick, and a brutal DDT on the apron, followed by a springboard twisting senton for another near fall.

Rhea regains control by delivering a devastating face-first drop on the apron and sending Zoey into the ring post. In the ring, Rhea unleashes a barrage of punches and forearms, attempting a wrist clutch powerbomb, but Zoey manages to block it. Rhea adapts, turning it into a suplex and getting a near fall. She then applies a stretching submission to assert her dominance.

Zoey counters with curb stomps and boots, but Rhea is undeterred and responds with a dropkick. Zoey retaliates with a series of strikes, including a jawbreaker and a powerful kick to the head. Rhea counters with a vicious facebuster and a clothesline in the corner. She places Zoey on the turnbuckles and delivers chops and forearms, attempting a high-risk maneuver. Zoey fights back with punches, and both competitors land on their feet. Zoey nearly gets a pin after a kick.

The back-and-forth continues as Zoey misses a kick, and Rhea counters a gourdbuster attempt. Zoey counters with a victory roll for a near fall. Rhea responds with a back elbow and a brutal kick to the head, setting up for a belly-to-back gourdbuster. Another near fall follows a belly-to-back suplex from Rhea. Rhea shows her confidence with a defiant pie face.

Zoey challenges Rhea to hit her, and Rhea attempts RipTide. Zoey manages to escape momentarily, landing a German suplex and a sliding kick to the head for another near fall. Zoey attempts Z360, but Rhea counters with elbows, intensifying the exchange. A kick from Zoey and a headbutt from Rhea further escalate the situation, but ultimately, Rhea secures the victory with RipTide for the three-count.

WINNER: Rhea Ripley (retains championship)

Men’s War Games Match: The Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre vs Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins

During the match, Randy Orton was not seen with his team. Finn Balor started for his team, while Seth Rollins started for his. At the beginning of the match, Seth executed a suicide dive and attacked Finn. Finn tried to send Seth into the cage but was unsuccessful. Seth, on the other hand, successfully sent Finn into the cage.

Seth then attempted a buckle bomb, but Finn managed to land on his feet and hit a clothesline. Finn then sent Seth into the cage multiple times and followed it up with a chop. Finn also executed a sling blade. However, his momentum was halted by Seth's superkick. Seth then tried to perform a Pedigree on the metal plate between the rings, but Finn countered with a back body drop.

Finn missed his Coup de Grace attempt, which was followed by Seth's sling blade. Seth then delivered punches and forearms, followed by an Irish whip and a forearm into the corner. Finally, Seth executed a backbreaker and a running boot to Finn's head.

JD McDonagh enters the match, but Seth Rollins promptly greets him with a kick as he attempts to enter the cage. Seizing the moment, Finn Balor delivers shoulders in the corner, establishing early dominance. JD retaliates with a kendo stick, introducing a weapon into the match and ensuring Finn is not excluded. Both assail Seth with the kendo stick, and Finn takes the opportunity to choke Seth with the weapon, setting a brutal tone. JD executes a moonsault to Seth and lifts Finn, both employing the kendo stick for added punishment. As Finn descends from the turnbuckles, he strikes Seth on the back with the kendo stick while JD holds him on the ropes. The onslaught continues with a double suplex from Finn and JD.

Jey Uso enters the fray, contemplating his entrance before choosing a chair, which he uses to assault JD's ribs and back. Jey then shifts his focus to Finn, striking him with the chair. JD and Jey engage in a fierce exchange of kicks and punches, with Jey delivering a dragon whip to JD and subsequently to Finn. Notably, JD counters Jey's running hip into the corner with an impressive Spanish Fly. Seth intervenes in a double suplex attempt, leading to a double superkick. Finn and JD find themselves sent into the turnbuckles, absorbing offense from Seth and Jey, who collaborate for a unique offensive sequence.

Despite Drew McIntyre's desire to alter the plans, Damian Priest makes his entrance. Seth and Jey attempt to use weapons, but Priest fights back with a baton, showcasing his resilience. He delivers a Broken Arrow to Jey, followed by a leaping flatliner to Seth. Climbing the ropes, Priest, with assistance from JD and Finn, executes a cannonball onto Seth and Jey. Priest then focuses on Seth in the far ring, delivering punches and kicks, while Finn intensifies the chaos by assaulting Jey with a chair.

Sami Zayn becomes the next participant, grabbing the kendo stick from JD and using it to strike him. Sami slams the cage door into Finn's head and, to the crowd's anticipation, performs a daring move for their entertainment. Seth and Jey introduce a table into the ring, adding another element of potential destruction. Priest engages Sami, delivering a forearm, but Sami responds with a Blue Thunder Bomb to Finn. Climbing to the top of the cage, Sami is joined by JD, and a perilous struggle ensues, resulting in JD falling onto the top rope uncomfortably. Sami utilizes a pipe from the top of the cage to attack JD, Finn, and Priest, kicking and punching Finn, choking him in the corner, and assaulting JD and Priest with the pipe.

Finally, Drew McIntyre enters the match, further escalating the chaos within the cage.

Drew executes a spinebuster on Seth and then propels Sami into the corner, delivering an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Following up with an elbow to Seth, Drew performs an Alabama gourdbuster on Seth onto Sami. He transitions to the other ring where Jey stands alone. Drew and Jey exchange punches, and Drew adds a kick before attempting a Future Shock DDT. However, Jey manages to evade and responds with an uppercut. Drew counters with a neckbreaker, repeatedly sending Jey into the cage. Drew lawn darts Jey into the cage, prompting him to acknowledge the impact of the move. Meanwhile, Finn punches Sami, and Priest attempts to strike Sami, who blocks the attempt and counters with punches. JD joins in with a kick and punches, and Jey delivers a superkick when Drew sets up for a Claymore. Jey and Sami execute a combination move, 1D, on Drew. Priest kicks Jey, and Finn hits Sami from behind.

Cody Rhodes enters as the next participant. Cody skillfully avoids the baton and lands a drop-down uppercut. He sends Priest into the cage multiple times and proceeds to punch JD. Cody performs a gourdbuster on JD onto Finn. Cody acquires a bullrope, and Seth attempts to grab it. Cody clarifies that it's not intended for Seth. They collectively clothesline JD, and Seth uses the cowbell to strike Finn. They pull the rope into Finn's groin area, and Seth eagerly anticipates someone's arrival. Cody kicks Priest, and Sami joins in to kick and choke JD. Finn responds with shoulders to Sami.

Dominik Mysterio is the subsequent entrant. Dom targets Cody, hitting him in the back, and follows up with a double-leg takedown and punches to Seth. Dom kicks Sami and Jey and executes a suplex on Cody, holding on for a second one. Dom signals for the third amigo, but Seth, Sami, and Jey intervene, preventing him from completing the maneuver. The opponents unleash a barrage of punches and kicks on Dom. Cody punches Dom and sends him between the rings. Seth sends Finn into the turnbuckles, and Cody continues to assault Dom. Seth and Sami set up a table, and Dom is sent into the cage, with the table positioned against the turnbuckles. Seth attempts a buckle bomb, but Dom's teammates intervene to save him. Dom retaliates with punches to Jey, while Drew and Priest stare each other down.

In the midst of the match, Priest and Seth grabbed Seth while Priest also took hold of Sami. Drew contributed to the chaos by adding Cody to the choke slam chain. With Priest directing the next moves, everyone climbed to the top. JD executed a Moonsault onto Sami, Finn delivered a Coup de Grace to Seth, and Dom followed up with a frog splash to Cody. Finn then handed Seth over to Priest, who slammed him through the table with a Razor's Edge.

As the excitement built for the final entrant, a surprising twist emerged. Rhea Ripley made her way to the ring with the briefcase, accompanied by a referee. However, their Cash-in celebration was abruptly cut short by Randy Orton's entrance, initiating the Match Beyond.

Orton started with a clothesline on Dom, followed by a powerful slam. JD was next and got sent crashing into the cage with a power slam. Dom met a similar fate, and Finn was positioned for Orton's signature hanging DDT between the rings. As Drew and Priest assessed the situation, a tense standoff ensued between Drew and Randy. Priest intervened with a forearm to the back, prompting a collective assault on Randy.

Dom and JD contributed kicks to Randy, and chaos ensued as everyone engaged in a brawl between the rings. Cody targeted Priest and JD with punches. Randy seized Priest, setting the stage for five hanging DDTs distributed among the competitors. Orton, with a menacing look, recalled an encounter with Jey Uso. Priest charged at Randy from behind, only to be met with a super kick from Jey. Randy swiftly countered with an RKO to Dom. Jey added a frog splash to Drew, while Cody executed a CodyCutter on JD, and Sam delivered a Helluva kick to Drew.

JD, facing an uphill climb, attempted to ascend the cage. However, Sami and Seth intervened, delivering punches to JD. Seth and Sami collaborated to send JD off the top of the cage for an RKO. Meanwhile, Cody secured a three-count with CrossRhodes on Priest, marking a pivotal moment in the chaotic Match Beyond.

WINNER: Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso

After the match, Randy and Cody shook hands as a sportsmanlike gesture, and Randy and Jey exchanged a fist bump to show mutual respect.

The crowd erupted as the opening notes of "Cult of Personality" echoed through the arena, signaling the arrival of CM Punk. He walked into the arena with a purpose, adding a new dynamic to the unfolding events.
