Sun Pictures Ropes In Selvaraghaavan, Shine Tom Kochacko, Aparna Das, Among Others For Thalapathy Vijay's - Beast

Chennai, August 8, 2021: Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for his next film, Beast. The actioner is being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar while Kalanithi Maaran is bankrolling this biggie under his banner Sun Pictures. The movie will see Pooja Hegde playing the female lead opposite Vijay.

Meanwhile, Sun Pictures has revealed the rest of the cast details and it was surprising to many fans who were not expecting the rest of the cast anytime soon. There are three antagonists in the movie, and one of them is Selvaraghaavan. One of the other baddie roles is played by famous Malayalam actor Shine Tom Kochacko, who joined the sets of Beast's third schedule this week.



The production house has also announced that Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, and Lilliput Faruiqui who is a Bollywood comedy actor and the writer of the Vikram Betaal TV series, will be a part of the star cast. In addition to it, Malayalam actress Aparna Das, along with Ankur Ajit Vikal will also be starring in the film.

There is a buzz that the third antagonist of Beast will be revealed soon and it could be a Bollywood actor. Meanwhile, the first two schedules of the filming took place in Georgia and Chennai respectively. Currently, the team is shooting the third schedule in Chennai. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and it marks his third collaboration with Vijay after Kaththi and Master.

While the shooting is currently going on in full swing, the makers are eyeing Pongal 2022 for a grand theatrical release of the film. It will also be dubbed in the Telugu language.
