Chicago, 26 November - Well, it was something that the rest of the WWE Universe wanted to see happening, but it seems like the current World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, didn't take it.

After much anticipation and buzz in the WWE universe, CM Punk finally made his return to WWE for the first time since 2014. This happened towards the end of the show, just after the men's WarGames match. The winners of the men's WarGames match, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso, were all standing in the cage, celebrating their immense victory. The crowd went wild when Punk entered the arena.



The reaction of the crowd was incredibly insane, but it was Seth Rollins who seemed to go furious over Punk's return. Rollins was seen flipping off Punk and screaming at him during his return. Fans who attended the show are posting videos from different angles and it has since become one of the top highlights of the night.

There is no confirmation as to whether this was legitimate or a work done by the creative team to forge the storyline going forward. However, a report from Fightful Select confirms that Seth Rollins had to be ushered away by Triple H and Michael Cole, as he was not happy about Punk's appearance.
