Matt Cardona Makes A Shocking Appearance, Challenges Adam Copeland For TNT Title On AEW Collision

Former WWE star Matt Cardona, known as Zack Ryder during his WWE run, made a shocking appearance on AEW Collision this Saturday night.

Cardona answered Adam Copeland's (Edge) open challenge for the TNT Championship, which Copeland just won from Christian Cage on Dynamite last week. This marked Cardona's first match in AEW since 2020.



There's history between these two. Back in their WWE days, Cardona (as Zack Ryder) and Brian Myers (Curt Hawkins) were known as the "Edgeheads," staunch fans of Edge.

Copeland, the more established star, put away the challenge and retained his newly acquired TNT Championship.
