Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari praised Sonu Sood for helping migrant workers
Actor Sonu Sood has become the talk of the town for his great gesture towards the migrant workers who been suffering the most due to COVID-19. The actor has been arranging transport for the migrants to take them to their native places. So far he has sent more than 12,000 migrants to their homes in the states of Utter Pradesh and Bihar.
Seeing him helping the most affected people due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Governor of Maharashtra state Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Wednesday has praised the actor for his gesture towards the laborers.

Sonu Sood has been working tirelessly to help the stranded people. In a recent interview, the actor said that most of his time is being spent with the migrant workers. He has been talking to them and trying to reach out to as many migrants as possible.
The actor has not only providing transport to the migrants, but he has also donated to the healthcare workers and feeding people. Recently, he contributed over 1,500 PPE kits to doctors across Punjab and has been feeding thousands of underprivileged people along with providing meal kits to migrants in the Bhiwandi area during the holy month of Ramadan.
He had also opened his Mumbai hotel for the accommodation of the medical forces.
