Mumbai, September 9, 2021: Actor Andrew Garfield, who led both "The Amazing Spider-Man" movies, has once again burst rumors that he will return in the upcoming "Spider-Man: No Way Home", Tom Holland's third solo Spider-Man film.

There have been rumours that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, who played the superhero in the first three Spider-Man movies, will return in the upcoming Spider-Man movie. In an interview with Variety, Garfield said that he is aware of the excitement of fans as he himself is the fan but denied his appearance in Jon Watts directorial.

He said, "I understand why people are freaking out about the concept of that because I'm a fan as well. You can't help but imagine scenes and moments of 'Oh, my God, how f***ing cool would it be if they did that?' But it's important for me to say on the record that this is not something I'm aware I am involved in".

But I know I'm not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don't know what's happening. No matter what I say, I'm f***ed. It's either going to be really disappointing for people or it's going to be really exciting", he added.

While Garfield has been denying his participation in the film, the trailer of "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which was launched recently, indicates that both the previous Spider-Man actors might have roles to play. The trailer includes the villain Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred Molina, and hinted at the involvement of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin. Tobey Maguire's "Spider-Man" trilogy featured both actors.

Jamie Foxx, who played Electro in Andrew Garfield's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", has also announced that he will appear in "Far From Home", and the trailer also has given enough hints about his appearance. Meanwhile, the forthcoming Spider-Man movie also stars Zendaya and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange among others. The movie is scheduled to release worldwide on December 17, 2021.
