Mumbai, August, 11 2023 - After a span of 22 years since Gadar: Ek Prem Katha made waves at the box office, Anil Sharma presents a sequel that endeavors to revive the heart-swelling patriotism and familial affection amidst the backdrop of war.

'Gadar 2' takes place 17 years after the original movie, set amidst the tensions of the 1971 war with Pakistan. Tara Singh embarks on a mission to rescue his son Jeeta, leading to a familiar confrontation between India and Pakistan. The film hints at multiple exciting moments beyond what the trailer reveals. The music, which combines old and new songs, remains a strong point, evoking a sense of nostalgia.
