Ajay Devgn's 'Son of Sardaar' Sequel In The Works For 2024 Start

Mumbai, October 5 - Last year, it was reported that Bollywood star Ajay Devgn would be returning to reprise his role of Jaswinder "Jassi" Singh Randhawa in the sequel to his 2012 movie Son of Sardaar. However, there have been no updates regarding the same since then until yesterday.

According to reports, Son of Sardaar 2 is officially in the works and it will go on floors around summer next year. It is said that Ajay Devgn is trying to turn SOS into a franchise and has been working with his team on the idea for the sequel to take the franchise forward.



Ajay and the team have finally locked an idea for SOS 2 and the official announcement of the movie is expected to be made soon. The sequel will have a completely new story and an entirely new cast except for Ajay Devgn who will play the role of a devoted Sardaar.

Meanwhile, the "Tanhaji" actor will be taking multiple sequels apart from SOS 2. He will soon start Raj Kumar Gupta's "Raid 2", a follow-up to his 2018 blockbuster inspired by a real-life income-tax raid, along with "De De Pyar De 2", and "Golmaal 5". SOS 2 will start after "Raid 2" and then, Ajay will start DDPD2 by the end of 2024.
