Stamford, December 12 - CM Punk made a stunning return to WWE at the 2023 Survivor Series event, marking his comeback to the wrestling scene after a significant hiatus. While Punk has refrained from active competition since his return, he recently revealed an exciting development.

The former WWE Champion announced his participation in the 2024 Royal Rumble match, setting the stage for a potential showdown. As of now, the only other confirmed entrant is Cody Rhodes, heightening the anticipation for this prestigious event.



Before the Royal Rumble, fans can expect to witness CM Punk in action. MSG (Madison Square Garden) has unveiled a marquee match for the December 26 WWE live event as part of the holiday tour – CM Punk will square off against Dominik Mysterio. This holds particular significance as it marks Punk's return to MSG for his first match since March 13, 2012, when he teamed up with Randy Orton & Triple H to triumph over Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, & Dolph Ziggler at a live event.

Interestingly, CM Punk had already teased the prospect of facing Dominik Mysterio. Days after his WWE return, Punk shared an Instagram story featuring an old photo where he pointed at a young Dominik in a WWE ring. Now, it appears that this long-anticipated match is set to become a reality.
