Box Office: 'Animal' Enters The Top 5 Highest-Grossing Indian Films In North America

Los Angeles, December 13 - Ranbir Kapoor's mega-blockbuster Animal has breached a major milestone at the North American box office by becoming the 5th highest-grossing Indian film there after crossing Aamir Khan's "Dangal".

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action drama crossed "Dangal" ($12.39 million) on its 12th day at the NA box office. Notably, "Animal" is the first adult-rated Indian film to breach the $10 million mark over there and it is now looking to finish in the top 3 by the end of its run.



Here are the top 5 highest-grossing Indian films in North America -

1. Baahubali 2 - $22 million

2. Pathaan - $17.48 million



3. Jawan - $15.25 million

4. RRR - $15.10 million

5. Animal - $12.40 million approx. (12 days).

Meanwhile, "Animal" has also crossed 750 crores gross at the worldwide box office in just 12 days and became the 10th highest-grossing Indian and 7th Bollywood film of all time. In India, it has scored approx. 545 crores gross and approx. 210 crores at the overseas box office.
