Mumbai, June 28, 2021: Supremely talented actor, Ayushmann Khurrana feels that the covid-19 pandemic has made people more opinionated about what they want to consume and like to watch. He said that to pull audiences back to theaters, filmmakers need to produce unique and different content for wholesome entertainment.
"I'm a firm believer that the pandemic and lockdowns have made us more opinionated than before and people would only want to invest time and energy in things that are unique and different. They would want to have community experiences that are worthwhile", the actor said.
"Cinema will provide them with that option but we will have to produce the best content that we have ever produced. People will want to be entertained with films that celebrate new ideas. The scale of the film will be immaterial because the content will take precedence in a whole new world", he added.
Ayushmann, whose Article 15 turns 2 years old today (June 28), said that to restart the film industry and the exhibition sector successfully, everyone must focus on the content-driven subjects so that audiences step out to watch films in theaters as they will want to invest in good films post-pandemic era.
Ayushmann is one of the rare actors whose every film touches the heart of the audiences because of their uniqueness. He has done films like Badhaai Ho, Dream Girl, Bala, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Article 15, among others, which are hard-hitting bold films that became very successful.
