Akshay Kumar And Wife Twinkle Khanna Donate 100 Oxygen Concentrators Amid Huge Demand

Mumbai, April 27, 2021: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is continuing to do humanitarian work amid the ongoing covid-19 crisis. After donating Rs. 1 crore to Gautam Gambhir Foundation recently, the actor along with his actor wife Twinkle Khanna, has now contributed 100 Oxygen Concentrators to an organization.

Twinkle took to social media to share the news. She wrote, "Wonderful news-Dr Drashnika Patel & Dr. Govind Bankani of London Elite Health through Daivik Foundation are donating 120 oxygen concentrators and as @akshaykumar and I have managed to get our hands on 100 as well, we have a total of 220. Thank you for the leads. Let's all do our bit".



"I think for the last few weeks with members of my own family ill I have been in a bit of a hole. But I couldn't stay there for long. I implore all of you in your own way to do whatever you can so we can look back at this bleak moment and at least say it took the worst but it brought out the best in all of us. #ILookForSilverLinings", she further said.

Akshay Kumar is among the highest donors in the country. He has often provided his financial support whenever the country has faced tough times. Last year, the superstar donated a whopping Rs. 25 crores to the PM Cares Fund to support the government in the battle against covid-19.

On the work front, Akshay has several interesting projects in the pipeline like Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey, Bell Bottom, Ram Setu, Prithviraj, among others. His Sooryavanshi was supposed to release on April 30 but the second wave of the covid-19 forced the makers to postpone the release once again.
