STORY
It's a survival thriller movie and story of the is very simple. A Seasoned thief tries to rob a Car and gets trapped inside it. There is a mysterious man who operates the car from outside. How the Protagonist saves his life forms the crux of the story.
ARTIST'S PERFORMANCES
The lead actor Simha will occupy almost 90 percent of the entire screen time. His performance is top-notch and Natural. His character needs to emote laughter, frustration, anger, and emotional outburst and he brilliantly excelled well. Even in the deep close-up shots, his expressions are flawless. Other actors have very limited screen presence and did their part well.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS
Since it's a survival thriller the entire movie happens in a single location which is inside a Car in this flick. The technical departments have done a commendable job. The Cinematographer has captured the scenes well by using different camera angles and placing the lens in all possible ways. Music director Kaala bhairava who is the real-life brother of lead actor Simha has done a commendable job. His BGM is the back bone of the film. Dialogues are the main highlight and the Voice of the mysterious man is superb. Editing is crisp as the movie is just 1 hour 36 minutes long.
Coming to the Writer and director Satish Tripura he has done an okay job with the film. He has taken an experimental concept and tuned it to suit the nativity. But in some places, his narration is slow with melodramatic scenes. Also, there is an inconsistent engaging factor. The first half is good but the interest became declining post-interval.

Dongalunnaru Jagratha is a remake of the Spanish movie "4*4". But it is changed to suit the Indian audience. However, the engaging factor kept declining after the interval. Also, there are a few melodramatic scenes that bore you. This kind of movie needs a racy screenplay to keep the audience engaged which is missing in the latter half. If you like survival genres or try something new then it's our choice. Otherwise, you can wait for the OTT release.
