Hyderabad, December 6 - Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in full action after taking a short break from movies and shuttling her personal issues. Samantha recently completed the first item number of her career in Allu Arjun's "Pushpa: The Rise" and now begins filming for her next film, titled "Yashoda".
The movie, which will feature Samantha in the title role of an author, has started its regular shooting today in Gandipet, the outskirts of Hyderabad after the Pooja Ceremony. Said to be a new-age thriller, "Yashoda" will be released in five Indian languages including Hindi.
Directed by director duo Hari and Harish, "Yashoda" is being produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banners of Sridevi Movies. The makers are planning to complete the entire shooting by March 2022 and the release date will be announced after that. Mani Sharma composes music for the film which has dialogues by Pulagam Chinnarayana and Dr. Challa Bhagya Lakshmi. Other cast details will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, the 34-year old talented actress recently signed her first international project, which will be directed by BAFTA-winning Welsh director Philip John. Titled "Arrangements of Love", the movie is an adaptation of the bestselling 2004 novel of the same title by Indian author Timeri N. Murari. It will be produced by Sunitha Tati's Guru Films and will go on floors in August 2022.
Samantha also has the mythological drama film "Shaakuntalam", for which the shoot has been wrapped up. The movie also marks Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha's acting debut. The release date is yet to be announced. Apart from the said projects, the Oh Baby actress also has two more untitled projects in her kitty.
