Hyderabad, May 12 - The summer of 2023 will get heated up with blockbuster titles making their way to the big screen. Among the films that are expected to set the box office on fire, Allu Arjun's Pan-India sensation, "Pushpa - The Rule" is expected to be the highlight of Summer 2023.

Directed by Sukumar, the first part of the movie, "Pushpa - The Rise" created mayhem at the Pan-Indian box office and emerged as a massive hit with a worldwide gross collection of 360+ crores. The movie has set the bar high for a mass entertainer. Allu Arjun's mass dialogues and his steps have gone viral on social media and reached international audiences.



The expectation from "Pushpa 2" are sky high and while the film is expected to go on the floors in June this year, the makers are contemplating making it the big summer blockbuster and eyeing May 2023 release. It might get pushed to the second half of the next year if the shoot is not over on time. However, the makers are confident to bring the film in May 2023 itself.

"Pushpa - The Rule" will be the continuation of part one of the film that depicts the rise of a coolie in the smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood, a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh state. The movie had received mixed to positive reviews from critics and audiences.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead alongside Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay, among others in key roles.
