Makers Set The Bar High For Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa - The Rule' After Unthinkable Success In Hindi

Mumbai, January 30 - There aren't many South Indian films that have had success in Hindi. Among the few successful films, superstar Allu Arjun's Telugu actioner, "Pushpa - The Rise" is the latest to join the list.

The Sukumar-directed has done an unthinkable in the Hindi dubbed version at the box office, which is now tempting the makers to set the bar high for its next chapter, titled "Pushpa - The Rule". After what "Pushpa - The Rise" has done in Hindi, the anticipation for the second part is sky high among the fans as well as in trade.



As per the industry sources, the theatrical and post-theatrical rights of "Pushpa - The Rule" are in huge demand. One of the leading studios has reportedly offered a whopping sum of Rs. 300 crores to grab all the rights of "Pushpa 2", mainly because of the success of the Hindi version. However, the makers are reportedly eyeing more.

The anticipation for "Pushpa 2" is a no hidden thing now and it seems makers are very well aware of it and hence, they want to cash in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. There is no doubt Allu Arjun is a big star in North India, and "Pushpa - The Rise" has successfully proved that becoming a box office monster.

It is still too early to predict what will be the box office outcome of "Pushpa - The Rule", especially in Hindi, but the way things stand a present, it might repeat the box office success of Prabhas-fronted "Baahubali - The Conclusion". There is another South Indian film, "KGF: Chapter 2", which is eyeing to become a potential blockbuster in Hindi.



"Pushpa - The Rule", however, has no fixed release date yet. Sukumar is currently writing the script for the second part and it has been reported that part 2 will be more dark and thrilling. The writer-director has reportedly added one more villain apart from Fadhad Faasil in part two, which is currently being planned to start production from April 2022.
