On Allu Ramalingaiah's 99th Birth Anniversary, Allu Family Inaugurate Allu Studios In Hyderabad

The legendary Allu Ramalingaiah was one of the biggest comic actors in the Telugu film industry. He gave some of the several memorable performances through movies. Today, the Padma Shri awardee's 99th birth anniversary, and to make this day special, Allu Aravind and sons Bobby Allu, Allu Arjun, and Allu Sirish have inaugurated Allu Studios - a large scale film shooting studio in Hyderabad.

Taking to Twitter, Allu Arjun announced the same, "1st of October marks the 99th birth anniversary of our beloved Dr. Sri Allu Ramalingaiah. To commemorate the occasion and honour his memory, the Allu family will inaugurate the construction work of ALLU Studios".



"We celebrate the legacy of our grandfather and dedicate this ALLU Studios to him. With all your blessings and good wishes, we commence the works of ALLU Studios", he added.

Allu Arjun also issued an official statement regarding the Allu Studios which they have dedicated to their great grandfather. "To commemorate the occasion and honour his (Allu Ramalingaiah) memory, the Allu family has inaugurated the construction work of Allu Studios. Our entire family has loved cinema and makes us very happy to celebrate the legacy of our grandfather", the letter read.



"We are determined to lay the foundation of the upcoming studio", he concluded.

Allu Ramalingaiah was a legendary actor who worked in more than 1000 films in Tollywood. In 1990, the Government of India honoured him with Padma Shri for his contribution towards the arts and Telugu entertainment industry. His notable films are Mayabazar, Missamma, Muthyala Muggu, Sankarabharanam among others.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun will be seen in Sukumar's "Pushpa". The film stars Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role. The shooting of the upcoming intense drama is yet to go on floors.
