Tamil Blockbuster 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' Collects Over 66 Crores Gross At The Worldwide Box Office

Chennai, May 27 - The Tamil film industry is looking in top gear this year with back-to-back big box office success. The latest on the list is director-producer Vignesh Shivan's romantic comedy-drama film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.

The film, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the leading roles, was released on April 28 worldwide. The movie received excellent reviews upon its release in theaters and became an instant hit at the box office.



This year, for a change, Tamil producers are officially revealing box office collections of their movies. Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures has also followed the same and revealed that KRK has grossed over 66 crores worldwide in 4 weeks. The movie is now streaming on Disney+Hotstar after completing its blockbuster theatrical run.

"Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal" is written and directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by Shivan and Nayanthara's banner Rowdy Pictures with Seven Screen Studios and is distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin under his banner Red Giant Movies. It has also become Vijay Sethupathi's highest-grossing solo movie.
