Ajay Devgn Withdraws From Yash Raj Films Superhero Movie!

Mumbai, April 22, 2021: It was reported last year that Ajay Devgn will be collaborating with Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films for the first time for a superhero film. The movie was supposed to be announced along with a slate of other movies at a grand event to commemorate YRF's 50 years celebration.

However, a lot of things have been changed since then which resulted in, Ajay's film with YRF, which could have been the next big film in the superhero genre, is reportadly not happening now as both Ajay and Aditya Chopra don't want to push it further. Another reason for the film getting shelved is that Ajay never singed the dotted lines as he has already a plethora of films in the pipeline.



The film was supposed to be directed by Shiv Rawail and Ajay was to play the supervillain while Ananya Panday's cousin brother Ahaan Panday was all set to make his big debut with the action-adventure saga. As per the reports, Aditya and Ajay were still looking to manage dates but due to Ajay's busy schedule for almost this entire year, things couldn't materialize at this point of the time.

While Ajay and YRF's wait for working togehter gets longer, the superstar will continue to thrill his fans with the excited films coming up. He has Rajamoul's RRR, Maidaan, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Mayday, Thank God and a film with Neeraj Pandey along with digital debut series, Rudra – The Edge of Darkness for Disney Plus Hotstar in the pipeline.
