Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush's 'Atrangi Re' To Premiere On Disney Plus Hotstar On December 24

Mumbai, November 23 - The musical romantic drama film "Atrangi Re" starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush will be premiered directly on Disney Plus Hotstar on December 24. The movie was supposed to release in theaters but to the second covid-19 wave and a crowded release schedule ahead, the makers have decided to opt for digital release for the film.

On Tuesday (November 23), the first look motion posters of the primary cast were unveiled. The motion posters feature the three actors in quirky avatars. The trailer of the film will be released tomorrow on November 24.



Sara Ali Khan took to Twitter and shared the motion poster of Dhanush in her own style of making this light and humorous. "Mileyi Vishu se, hamara pehla character, Couldn't be played by any other actor. From national awards to being called thalaiva- he makes everyone Khush, You guessed it right it's Dhanush Dhanush Dhanush", she wrote.

The Kedarnath actress then shared Akshay's motion poster and wrote, "Atrangi style mein entry karte hai har baar, Next level energy- adbhud pyaar, Unke saamne sab maanle haar, To ho jayein Tayaar, To meet Mr Akshay Kumar".

Directed by Anand L Rai, 'Atrangi Re' has been written by Himanshu Sharma and the musical maestro AR Rahman has composed the album for the film with songs penned by Irshad Kamil. It is produced by T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films.
