Adivi Sesh's 'Major' Sets February 2022 Release Date In Hindi, Telugu, And Malayalam

Hyderabad, November 3 - The long-awaited biographical action, "Major", has got a release date. Based on the life of 2008 Mumbai attacks martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the movie, starring Adivi Sesh in the title role of the braveheart, will be released on February 11, 2022, in Hindi, and Telugu, along with a dubbed version of Malayalam, worldwide.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, "Major" also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, and Saiee Manjrekar in the female leads while Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murli Sharma play supporting roles. The shooting of the film is completed as makers released a video giving a sneak peek into the shooting days.

Major is produced by Sony Pictures India in association with Mahesh Babu's G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and A+S Movies. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, the film marks Adivi Sesh's debut in Hindi. The movie was earlier scheduled to release in June 2021, but due to the cinema closure and shoot being incomplete, makers postponed the release.
