Siddharth Anand and Ayan Mukerji's Remuneration For YRF's 'Tiger Vs Pathaan' and 'War 2' Revealed?

Mumbai, June 3 - Earlier this year, director Siddharth Anand delivered the biggest blockbuster of his career in the form of "Pathaan" starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The movie broke many box office records for a Hindi movie and also brought Yash Raj Films into the game after back-to-back flops.

Before "Pathaan", Siddharth Anand scored a massive blockbuster with YRF's "War" starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. He has now become a bankable asset for the studio and continuing their blockbuster collaboration, YRF has hired him to direct its biggest movie yet, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Tiger vs Pathaan".



"Tiger vs Pathaan" will start shooting in January 2024 and it will be Anand's third film in the YRF's Spy Universe. According to Bollywood Hungama, the mass filmmaker has been paid a whopping 40 crores remuneration to helm this mega-budget movie. With this, Anand has become the highest-paid director at Yash Raj Films.

Apart from "Tiger vs Pathaan", YRF is also working on the sequel to "War" which will be directed by Ayan Mukerji who previously directed "Brahmastra Part One - Shiva". It is another massive film in the Spy Universe that will be headlined by Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR who marks his Spy Universe as well as Bollywood debut with this.

Ayan has proved his capabilities to handle such a mammoth project and YRF is betting big on him to do justice to the franchise and star power involved in it. It was recently reported that Mukerji has been paid a mouth-watering around 32 crores fee to direct "War 2" which makes him one of the highest-paid directors in Bollywood.

"War 2" will start shooting in November this year and it is said to be the continuation of Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3" which releases this Diwali.
